Volkswagen Diesel Prices Down 16%

Prices on Volkswagen diesel vehicles have dropped almost 16 percent since the news of emissions scandal -- aka "dieselgate" -- broke back in September, according to a press release issued by Kelley Blue Book.

News of the scandal also impacted the average auction prices for Volkswagen gasoline-powered vehicles, lowering them by 2.9 percent.

If you don't care about the scandal or environment (Santa won't be getting you any gifts this year), it may be a good opportunity to take advantage of the situation. However, prices could drop even further, so there's always that risk.
