Consumer Reports recently revealed their top picks for the best new cars of 2014.
Evaluating test performance, reliability, and safety, Consumer Reports determined what they consider the best of the best in 10 vehicle categories. At the top of the heap is the Tesla Model S, which they named the Best Overall vehicle for 2014 based on the car's innovative features.
Other winners include the Subaru Impreza for best compact car, Honda Accord for best mid-sized sedan, BWM 328i for best sports sedan, and Ram 1500 for best pick up truck.
